Design

Benefits of simulation software, all parts will be simulated before the start of die design that will make sure there is no risk for project success. Material parameters, material flow, formability, thinning, springback will be considered for all stations. Sigma robust simulation for big parts, aluminum parts and high strength steel parts, all influential factors such as blank position (vary ±3mm), the anisotropic coefficient fluctuations (vary ±20% ),blank thickness  (vary -5%), material yield strength (vary ±10% ), material tensile strength (vary ±10 %), binder force (vary ±10% ) and the friction coefficient fluctuations the friction (vary ±10% ) are fully considered to avoid all trouble in tryout stage. We fine-tune all the details of the tools for draw, trim and form and run a full cycle simulation that provides overbend compensation to account for the spring back for the part. Meanwhile, in order to help customer to develop material usage and win project, we are able to do simulation at the beginning of kickoff.

Some of our Designers have been designing dies for 20 years. This experience with the use of 3D software, ensures that all die designs will perform correctly. We are specializing in the design of steel progress die, steel transfer die, steel tandem die, cast progress die, cast transfer die, cast tandem die and blank die. Along with our extensive experience of working with many different parts from all Stampers, we also use the latest software tools for accurate modeling. We engage our customers in conversations of possible design improvements to the part so they can have the most robust manufacturing process possible.

Our philosophy is we have one chance to get everything right in initial die design and engineering because changes past that point can be errors that cost time and money. And we approach every job with that same philosophy, whether it is a blanking die for a wheel or a complex die.
